I choose to put both of these together; I was referred to the Banned Book Webquest by the Dive Into Webquests page. I have found Webquests to be a fun and interesting way to engage students. In the banned book webquest challenges the students to read a book that has been banned and then write a persuasive essay to entice others to read. They also reference readwritethink (http://www.readwritethink.org/) to help guide you through a persuasive essay. At Dive into Webqeusts there are all kinds of ideas for integrating web activities into your classroom.
